Keep their face.

So they're still in the room.

A watercolour portrait of an older couple, framed, with a brass plaque

I've lost eight friends in the last five years.

Most in their early sixties. A couple even younger.

At the funerals, there were always photos. Enlarged. Printed. Propped on easels.

Some were beautiful. Some were… the best one anyone could find.

Only once did I see a real portrait. Hand-drawn.

And it elevated everything. It made the room feel different. Like the person was there — not just remembered.

I know what it is to want to keep a face.

I've needed it too.

You're not here by accident

You didn't stumble onto this page.

You came here looking for something. A way to keep a face close.

Take your time.

The photo doesn't have to be perfect

This is the part that stops most people.

The only photo you have might be old. Grainy. Faded. Cropped from a group shot at a wedding in 1987.

It's still enough.

Our process restores as it paints. Even if it's imperfect, blurry, or the only one you have — we can still make something beautiful.

The styles that suit remembrance

Not every style fits grief. These three do.

Quiet. It holds a face without asking anything of the room.

It gives a face the standing a snapshot never had.

Softens the edges. Never the face.

See it first

You'll see the portrait before you spend anything.

If it doesn't look like them… if it isn't right… you owe us nothing, and we'll be sorry we couldn't give you what you came for.

A wrong likeness of someone you've lost is the cruelest possible outcome. So we let you decide.

Order only when you're ready.

The dignity of the photo

Your photo is sacred. We treat it that way.

It's processed. Then deleted within 24 hours. Never used to train anything.

Just handled with care… then gone.

Gentle answers

My only photo is old and blurry. Will it work?

Yes. We restore as we paint. Even imperfect photos can become beautiful portraits.

I need it in time for a service this week.

The digital file is ready in about a minute. You can download it and print it locally in time.

Can it include more than one person?

Yes — up to six people in one portrait. The two of them together, or the whole family.

Is this respectful?

Yes. What we make is a portrait, painted with care — not a photo with an effect laid over it, and not something you would be embarrassed to hang.

We have thank-you notes to send after the service.

You can order cards carrying their portrait on the front, blank inside, in packs with envelopes. Families send thirty or forty of these in the weeks afterwards — and this is the one nobody throws away.

How it lives on the wall

A face you walk past every morning.

Warm. Lived-in. Never a shrine.

Just… there.
